This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through gemzwala.com (the “Site”), through orders placed by phone, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, and through any other channel where this Policy is linked or referenced.
We are committed to handling your personal data responsibly under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and in line with the principles of the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

Information you give us
Category- Name, phone number, email address, shipping address, billing address
Order details- Products purchased, order value, payment method chosen (Prepaid via Razorpay or Cash on Delivery)
Payment information- We do not store your card, UPI or netbanking credentials. Payments are processed directly by our payment partner, Razorpay, an RBI-authorised payment aggregator. We only receive confirmation of payment status and a transaction reference.
Communications- Messages you send us via the contact form, email, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook, including any images or videos shared for order support or replacement requests (e.g. unboxing videos)
When you browse the Site, we (and tools we use, such as analytics providers) may automatically collect your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and referring website, generally through cookies and similar technologies. See Section 6.
3. How we use your information
- To process, confirm, and fulfil your orders, including Cash on Delivery verification
- To arrange shipping and share delivery/tracking updates
- To communicate with you about your order, replacement requests, or support queries

- To detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or misuse of Cash on Delivery

4. Why we’re allowed to use it
We process your personal data because it is necessary to fulfil the order/contract you enter into with us, because you have given consent (for example, for marketing communications), or because we are required to by law (for example, retaining invoices for tax purposes).

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run our business:
- Payment processing: Razorpay, to process prepaid transactions securely
- Logistics & courier partners: to deliver your order and enable Cash on Delivery collection
- Website & IT service providers: hosting, site maintenance, and analytics providers who process data on our behalf
- Legal & regulatory authorities: where required by law, court order, or to protect our legal rights
Each of these parties is only given the information needed to perform their function and is expected to keep it confidential.
